Here is a rare original uk copy of this very obscure musically superb prog-rock gem by 'Bram Stoker'. Released in the uk in 1972 on the budget Windmill label, this LP has to be the best budget label prog-rock-psych album out there. All eight tracks are the band own compositions, so there are no weak cheesy cover versions. This album is choc-full of brilliant full blown progressive rock tunes, the tracks contain loads of doomy organ and plenty of blistering lead guitar breaks including some superb heavy fuzz-guitar, the drumming is great throughout and the lyrics and vocals are also top-notch. If you like early 'Beggars Opera' & 'Deep Purple' and the albums by 'Arzachel', 'Writing On The Wall', 'Marsupilami' and other similar artists, then you will love this excellent obscure prog-rock-psych gem by the mysterious little known 'Bram Stoker'.
CONDITION = VG+
The thick stereo vinyl is in VG+ to EX condition, both sides have a really excellent original sheen but with a few ultra-fine top surface hairlines and just a handful of random mild surface scratches, some of these marks cause some repeated light to medium background tics and some occasional crackle, this really isn't that bad or off-putting as the music is mostly very loud and heavy. The sound quality is always excellent with no real lessoning in the audio. This album has not actually had much play at all and it plays mostly excellent throughout, it just has a few clumsy mild surface scratches that downgrades it to VG+. The fully textured labels are in excellent very clean condition and look as good as new. The front laminated sleeve was made and printed in the uk by West Brothers, Printers Ltd, London. The front lamination is nice and clean with a excellent gloss, there are just a few small lamination shifts and some light creases and also a very narrow band of lamination blistering right near the spine. The edges and spine are excellent with barely any wear and all spine text is clear and easy to read. The matt back cover is still pretty white but with some mild ageing/marking and discolouration. The blue/white poly-lined inner is in nice condition but it is not the original inner that came with the album.
