180g Audiophile Vinyl Mastered by Friday Music's Joe Reagoso With Capitol Records' Ron McMaster From Original Virgin Records Tapes!

1997’s Come On Home was a critically acclaimed celebration of some of Boz Scaggs’ favorite blues, New Orleans R&B and early rock and roll pioneers of which he wanted to pay homage. Utilizing his own successful brand of popular rock and blues styling Boz commented “I’ve wanted to do this rhythm and blues album for a long time. It’s a tribute to some of my heroes, some of the great R & B singers, songwriters, and musicians.”

The massive 14-track event included several well received radio favorites like the Earl King blues classic It All Went Down The Drain and Fats Domino’s rock ‘n roller Sick And Tired.

Armed with some of his famous friends like Ricky Fataar (The Beach Boys, Bonnie Raitt, The Rutles), Jim Keltner (Bob Dylan, Traveling Wilburys, Elton John), Freddie Washington (Steely Dan), Fred Tackett (Little Feat), Willie Mitchell and Tom Coster (Santana), Boz Scaggs and Co. truly captured the feel and essence of time honored classics from the likes of Bobby “Blue” Bland, T-Bone Walker, Issac Hayes, as well his own classics like After Hours.

As a continuing exploration of the great Boz Scaggs musical catalog, Friday Music is very honored to announce the first time 180 Gram Audiophile Vinyl release of Come On Home. Mastered impeccably from the original Virgin Records tapes by Joe Reagoso at Friday Music Studios and at Capitol Records with Ron McMaster, Come On Home is truly a musical feast for the heart and soul.

This wonderful deluxe limited edition 2 LP set is also packaged in a stunning gatefold cover featuring the great photography from the original compact disc release, as well as Boz’s original exceptional liner notes which truly add depth and artistic insight into this once in a lifetime session.
