BOYS NEXT DOOR 1st NICK CAVE SUICIDE BOOTS KBD SINGLE This is an original issue of the Boys Next Door (later to become The Birthday Party) single “These Boots Are Made For Walking / Boy Hero”. Issued on the short lived Australian punk label Suicide records in 1978, this is the first release by a band that would come to represent the face of punk in Melbourne and spawn a number of the most influential musicians in this city including Nick Cave, Mick Harvey and Roland Howard. The record comes in an original RCA (distribution company) bag, as there was no picture cover issued. Strangely even in Australia this record is among the hardest to find of all the early punk singles. Record is in as new condition and looks unplayed.
