THE ADVENT PROCESSION

HURSTPIERPOINT COLLEGE CHAPEL CHOIR Directed by Nicholas Searls

A rare LP, made for internal sales at the school only, and is on the Abbey Label APS354

This is an outstanding example of a robed chapel choir from one of the great boys' Public schools. (The school is now co-educational)

The Advent Procession service is justly famous for its beauty and music and this LP captures the essence. Music by Palestrina, Gibbons, Ord, Britten, Howells, Wishart and Plainsong
