Description
Up for bids is an extremely rare 12" by Boyd Rice titled "Embers" This is a wildly rare record!! A hand numbered edition of 88 copies worldwide. This is # 05/88!! I was given this by Boyd several years back. The story go's like this: This a "official Bootleg" meaning Boyd had given the manufacturer free reign to release this 1 long track (EMBERS). It was released in Portugal about 6 years back. There were 44 copies on red vinyl and 44 copies on black vinyl. This is a red edition (the first run). On the B side the vinyl is etched with a series of Wolfshook's! Brilliantly presented!! I had Boyd sign the heavy black cardstock flip top cover, he signed it with a black sharpie so you can't see it in a photo, but it's there! It reads: "Boyd" and then he drew a wolfshook (NON symbol/rune). This sold out immediatly (IF you could find one). This used to be for sale on Boyd's merchandise page, where it was selling for up to 200.00 US Dollars. Of course this is long gone, you may never see another. This was never played!! It has been sitting on my shelf for years. Vinyl is unplayed. Cover is in NM- condition. I will post a photo soon. I will place a reasonable reserve on this monster. Thanks for looking and have a good dim sum!! I have lowered the reserve price considerably!!
