By the time of this recording in 1933, the Boswell Sisters were already well established with ten big hits to their credit over he last two years. Connee, Martha and Helvetia Boswell were the most popular female vocal group in the early years of records, until their star was pushed aside in the late '30s by the jivey Andrews Sisters.
This single is a nice pair of tunes that are quite reflective of the style of the day. The topside is “Coffee In The Morning” and did fairly well back in February of 1934. On the flip is “Song Of Surrender.”
