Tokyo art rock trio Boris mark two decades of two of their most pivotal works with expansive new editions of Pink and Dronevil, both returning this autumn via Relapse. Pink, first released in 2005 and often cited as the group's breakthrough outside Japan, resurfaces for the first time in ten years; as it was on the original sequence, a deluxe six-LP box digs deeper, lending unreleased session outtakes dubbed the "Forbidden Tracks", rare live recordings, and raw mixes alongside the original vinyl cut. Dronevil, the 2005 double experiment built as parallel albums of ambient drift and crushing rock intended to be played together, also reemerges, now renamed Dronevil - Example -, welding both pieces automatically rather than leaving it to the listener.
