COMMENTS: Vinyl looks great besides a very small amount of superficial paper scuffing seen under bright light. Not play tested. Jacket shows water damage that can be seen in the pictures. No inner sleeve when I purchased but will have a decent used sleeve. Please inspect the pictures and feel free to ask any questions.

Artist: Boot Title: Turn The Other Cheek! Year: 1977 Format: LP Label: Guinness
Boot’s second LP, Turn The Other Cheek was apparently released posthumously by the taxscam Guinness label. Produced by Mike Stone and Peter Thomason (though the liner notes misspelled the latter’s name as Thomasson). The nine tracks were seemingly recorded in 1972 during the same sessions that saw the release of their debut album Boot (see above post). As on the debut all four members contributed material, though lead guitarist Bruce Knox was responsible for the bulk of the collection.
Musically the first side of the album wasn't all that different from the debut. Not the case with side two. So how’d it compare to the debut? Even though this one’s largely unknown to folks (not like Guinness tried to market the album), song for song I’d give the nod to this one. These may have been castoffs from the debut, but perhaps because they were recorded with less pressure of the band and they were willing to experiment with unusual approaches, it was more entertaining. That was enough to make it one of the better Guinness label releases. (Bad Cat)

NOTE: My Vinyl Record Rating System: I visually grade my LP's using a magnification light. I am not far from what many serious collectors consider the ultimate record grading system which is Goldmine. The vast majority of what I sell is NM- or VG+, however I will & do sell lower grades if I think they are rare or bit hard to find.
Please pay attention to my comments : I try to address things that I think you the buyer should know before you purchase from me. My feedback's will show you that I am an honest reliable seller. I make every effort to give accurate descriptions. Album Covers: I do not grade simply because the pictures which you see are the actual LP you are buying or bidding on. Pictures (which can be enlarged) will show you the visual condition. Many will be addressed in comments.
