Description

Please read my description carefully before bidding.  I will ship the item worldwide and will accept a free return if it doesn't match the listing description.

This one is the first original mono pressing of Prestige Records PR-7340 "THE BLUE BOOK" by BOOKER ERVIN.  This one is an original issue from Prestige Records, not a reissue version by OJC or Classic Records.  Recorded by Rudy Van Gelder in 1964, with "VAN GELDER" stamped on the dead wax of both sides.  "BLUE TRIDENT" Labels.  Labels address: PRESTIGE RECORDS INC., 203 SOUTH WASHINGTON AVE., BERGENFIELD, N.J.  Very Rare.

Artists Include: Booker Ervin (tenor saxophone), Carmell Jones (trumpet), Gildo Mahones (piano), Richard Davis (bass), Alan Dawson (drums).

The vinyl played NM (Almost MINT) on Side A.  Under the bright light, I saw some small vinyl swell (as small as needle tip) on Side B and they are caused really small pops (very soft).  Thus, I rated Side B as NM-.

The cover is NM.  Strong, no split, no crack. Just small sticker and writing and stamps on the back (please see pictures).

The record is play graded as well as visually. I attempt to grade conservatively, listing all significant flaws.

My grading is as follows: M (perfectly like new), NM, NM-/VG++, VG+, VG, VG-, G, G-.

You will be satisfied.  And I will accept a free return.  Please bid with confidence.
