Vinyl- EX++. PLAYS THROUGH WITHOUT SKIPS JUMPS OR REPEATS WITH SUPER SOUND QUALITY. ONE LIGHT AND SUPERFICIAL MARK WHEN VIEWED AT ANGLE TO LIGHT STOPS A STRAIGHT NEAR MINT GRADING. THIS IS COMPLETELY INSIGNIFICANT TO PLAYBACK. HAS HAD ONLY VERY MINIMAL PLAY.

Sleeve - EX++ TO NEAR MINT. SUPERB EXAMPLE OF THIS FULLY TEXTURED 1ST PRESS SLEEVE BY SHOREWOOD PACKAGING. THERE ARE NO TEARS SPLITS OR WRITING. A REALLY WELL PRESENTED SLEEVE.

Spine and Opening Edge - SPINE IS UNCRUSHED WITH FULLY READABLE TITLE ETC AND OPENING EDGE HAS A NICE SHARP FINISH

Labels- EX++ TO NEAR MINT. NICE CLEAN PAPER CBS LABELS WITH NO WRITING ETC. MINIMAL SPINDLE TRACE WHEN HELD AT AN ANGLE TO LIGHT.

BOBBY WHITLOCK STARTED HIS CAREER WITH STAX RECORDS AS  A KEYBOARD PLAYER, INDEED HE WAS THE FIRST WHITE ARTIST SIGNED TO STAX. IN 1968 HE JOINED DELANEY AND BONNIE & FRIENDS WHERE AN ASSOCIATION WITH ERIC CLAPTON BEGAN WHICH LED ON TO HIM PERFORMING ON GEORGE HARRISONS ALL THINGS MUST PASS TRIPLE ALBUM. HE THEN JOINED CLAPTON IN DEREK AND THE DOMINOES WRITING OR CO-WRITING SIX OF THE TRACKS ON THE ACCLAIMED LAYLA AND OTHER ASSORTED LOVE SONGS. HE ALSO CONTRIBUTED TO ALBUMS BY JOHN LENNON, THE ROLLING STONES, DR JOHN and AGAIN CLAPTONS SOLO ALBUMS. SEVERAL UNCREDITED MUSICIANS JOIN WHITLOCK ON THIS RARE SOLO ALBUM INCLUDING ERIC CLAPTON,GEORGE HARRISON AND ROLLING STONES BRASS SECTION JIM PRICE AND SAXOPHONIST BOBBY KEYS ALONG WITH RICK VITO KEITH ELLIS AND DON PONCHER. THIS IS A LOVELY COPY WHICH HAS HAD LITTLE PLAY AND IS HARD TO FIND AS A UK 1ST PRESSING.

  Records are graded by record collectors grading system. I also grade with item is in between a grade i.e. ex+ if i feel it is better than an excellent grade but not quite near mint.ll try to give a good and true description of items regarding any marks or audible fault   Mint:- The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface noise or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items (lyric sheet etc) are in perfect condition. Records sealed or unplayed will be mint. Excellent:- Shows some signs of having been played but very little lessening of sound quality. The cover and packaging may have slight wear and /or creasing. Very good:- Has been played many times but retains good sound quality,despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear to the sleeve and extra items,without any major defects. Good:- The record has been played often and sound quality has deteriorated with some distortion and mild scratches.the cover and inserts suffer from folding,heavy scuffing to edges ,spine splits and discolouration. Any records that are not to the standards listed above will only be regarded as collection fillers and listed as such.   ADDITIONAL ALBUMS WIL BE APPROX 50% FOR EACH ALBUM(NO MORE) I DO NOT LOOK TO MAKE PROFIT FROM POSTAGE AND PACKAGING. DOUBLE ALBUMS WILL BE PRICED ACCORDINGLY. WHERE SEVERAL ITEMS ARE PURCHASED POSTAGE AND PACKAGING WILL POSSIBLY WORK OUT CHEAPER.              Terms of Sale
