Description
TITLE/ARTIST: This super rare, four (4) song EP with it's jacket is by the legendary Bobby Vee from 1961. It was just his 2nd EP release and features four (4) of his earliest hit songs (see pics above for all titles). The ultra rare and highly collectible EP is entitled simply, "Bobby Vee's Hits" and is on the original, 1st pressing, Liberty Label. Songs on the EP are, "Rubber Ball", "More Than I Can Say", "Stayin' In", and "Young Love" - all classics! This EP really is in super good condition - both the vinyl and the jacket - and is certainly one I once thought would never leave my collection. But.......time changes everything and here it is, so have at it. I will be listing other old, rare, and hard to find 45's, EP's, and LP's in my future auctions, so please check my site out from time to time - as there are hundreds more to get to yet. LABEL INFO: The original Liberty Label (LSX-1010) is super clean and nice with nothing negative to mention at all (see the pics above). There aren't even any spindle lines around the center circle which would indicate very little play, if any at all. VINYL INFO: Likewise, the vinyl is also extremely clean and nice - looking virtually unplayed. In my opinion, the vinyl looks about as nice as the day it was 1st purchased! JACKET INFO: Likewise, this jacket also appears nearly perfect, and even comes with the original $.75 price tag in the upper right corner (in green on the pics above). But, please view the pictures above and make your own decisions about everything. INTERESTING FACTS: This EP is ridiculously rare and would be a nice addition to anyone's R'n'R/EP collection.......so please have at it. As always, I have not listed it with any reserve price - just free and open bidding - so good luck!. In addition, I will continue to list many other RnR/R&B LP's, EP's, and 45's by 1950-60's artists----and even some C&W LPs/45's, too. I am selling off my entire personal collection, and there are 100's more records to get to yet -- of all varieties. These are U.S. rates only, and all foreign winners will have to await an email me for their exact costs, although I will send a detailed invoice as soon as the auction is over---but, there too, it is cheaper to send multiple pieces. The charges for overseas are listed in the shipping category below--$15.00 for the 1st 45/EP and then just $3.00 per 45/EP after that.
