BOBBY SOXX Hate in the '80s VVV 004 Texas Punk NM RARE
VVV Records catalog number VVV-004, one of the greatest and hardest to find of the great Dallas record store's releases, the late Bobby Soxx's 1981 single "Learn to Hate in the '80s" b/w "Scavenger of Death." Pre-Stickmen With Rayguns classic from one of Dallas's most unusual personalities. In the fold-over yellow and red sleeve, "VVV" stamped in green on the back cover, the store's address stamped in black next to it. Yellow and black labels on the single, A-Sise marked "Side 3" and the B marked "Side 7." This one was bagged in '81 when it was sent out and is baged today, the sleeve still NM, no creases, the colors bright and strong. The vinyl is NM, unmarked and certainly not played more than a couple or three times. It's el perfecto--you'd have to look for a very long time for a better copy of this extremely rare 45. Cleaned on the VPI machine just to be on the safe side. Bid with confidence.
