Description
This is a beautiful pressing of Bobby Hutcherson's "Happenings" Blue Note LP 4231 (mono). This copy has the 43 West 61st St, New York, N.Y. 10023 address on the back and New York USA on the labels. Van Gelder is stamped in the dead wax. Has the original Blue Note inner sleeve which has a little toning near the edge. The lower bottom left corner has a light crease that's more noticeable on the back, and some minor indentations on the front cover. There's a few small pieces of tape in the upper right corner. Overall the cover grades VG+ to VG++. The vinyl looks virtually unplayed and grades NM. This was purchased in a collection of over 10,000 Jazz LP's (including a large batch of 50's and 60's pre-Liberty Blue Note's). I'll be listing several other rare Blue Note LP's soon.
