Description
Up for auction is a very clean copy of the Bobby Hutcherson album "Components" released on Blue Note Records (4213) in 1965. Mono pressing with New York USA labels and "Van Gelder" stamped in the dead wax. Cover is in really nice shape, NO ring wear, seam splits, or writing anywhere. Front cover retains its original gloss finish with very few signs of wear. Small bump in upper left corner, and small crease in upper right are the only detractions. Back cover is beautiful, clean, and bone white. Looks great. I would grade the cover Near Mint Minus (NM-). Vinyl is very clean, retaining its original glossy shine. No obvious scratches or scuffs. Perhaps some very faint, superficial signs of having been taken out of the paper inner sleeve a few times. Labels are clean and bright, no marks around spindle holes, indicating very little previous play. I've play tested this record, and it sounds really nice, no distractions from the music worth mentioning. I'd grade the vinyl Near Mint Minus (NM-). Overall, a very presentable and clean copy of this essential Hutcherson title.
