Description

Bob Seger System - Mongrel - 1970 1st Press Gatefold cover. Capitol Records SKAO-499. Los Angeles Pressing Plant designated by * in runouts.  Cover VG++ all day conservatively. No promo hole which is fairly rare occurrence for this pressing. Tiny bit of wear to lower spine corner. 11/2 inch split inside gatefold on right / LP pocket side. LP must have poked through when inserted in cover at some point. Can most likely be discretely glued / repaired if new owner deems necessary. Minor ring wear rear cover. Inside / outside gatefold is otherwise Near Mint. Inside is especially clean / white. LP is stunning Near Mint. Glossy wax. You’ll have to look really hard to find even the faintest mark on either side. Labels are mark free & clean green. Absolutely beautiful for any age let alone nearly 52 years old. Priority Mail shipping with insurance included in purchase price. I always ship opened LPs out of cover to ensure no damage occurs during transit. Priced to sell IMHO. Don’t see too many promo condition 1st pressings online or otherwise. Usually the later issue pocket cover red label club edition or even later Yellow labels.
