Description
VINYL is NEAR MINT on all 4 of these one sided test pressings....these belonged to Seger's dentist of all people and came out of his estate. I think the Dentist added the track titles, as some of them are not quite accurate. I am not super familiar with the exact takes used for the actual release, but I read they were recorded here in Deetroit and Boston over several nights in 1980. One of the sides is dated 8/25 which might be 10 days before the release so it might have been Bob's actual test pressing.....the dentist lived kin West Bloomfield Michigan, just 2 miles from Bobs house (and current house still).....the deadwax has MASTERED BY CAPITOL and WALLY on all sides.....the sonics are mind blowing and I doubt these were played more than a couple of times....it is like you are on stage the sonics are so crisp even at totally pushed levels....if you are a Seger fan this is a must set for you....ONE OF A KIND IN NEAR MINT CONDITION TO ENJOY FOR YEARS TO COME ....You will not be disappointed.
ULTRASONIC CLEANED -- I just cleaned it on my new Ultrasonic Record cleaner, and put it in a fresh sleeve. It really does make a difference in the sound quality....it gets rid of stuff other methods just can't tackle....I am hooked! Ready to enjoy for years to come.
