BOB PEGG ‘ANCIENT MAPS’ 1975 TRANSATLANTIC LP COMPLETE WITH MAP NEAR MINT CONDITION

 

Bob Pegg's most ambitious album was also his most elaborately produced, with accompaniment provided by flutes, horns, sackbuts, cornetti, clarinets, and recorders, as well as harp, with Rick Russell joining Pegg on guitar.  Never released on CD and as an original with the poster and in the fabulous condition that this copy is, this represents a rare opportunity to own a very fine, folk concept album indeed in its original condition.

 

Sleeve condition: Ex+, merest hint of creasing at spine, otherwise, unwritten and unmarked, flat with legible spine.

 

Poster condition: Mint!  I doubt this has been out of the sleeve or unfolded before I photographed it for listing. 

 

Record condition: Mint! I suspect this is unplayed.  It certainly shows no evidence of even being handled.  There isn’t much that I would call Mint.  This is an exception. 

 

A superb example of this fine album.  I would be impossible to find in better condition!
