Description

BOB MARLEY & THE WAILERS: "Legend" (1984) - Island Records 12" Vinyl compilation LP - in immaculate condition

This copy of "Legend" is a lightly-used and owned-from-new 1984 UK release of Island Records LP BMW1.

The disc surfaces retain their original gloss, and the sound continues to be vivid.

The label provides the 1984 date: the label surfaces are bright and have no markings.

The cover is in excellent condition, having been stored from purchase (like the other vinyl records in my collection) in an outer double-length plastic sleeve (the cover is a gatefold, providing photos and an essay about Bob Marley's life) which will be included in the sale. The cover is unmarked, uncreased and unfaded, and retains its original vivid colour - there is no chafing at the edges or corners; please see the photos.

This compilation LP was released three years after Bob Marley's death. I assume this was an early copy since the inner sleeve is in uniform 'memorial' black with no printing whatever (I see that several other copies for sale have normal sleeves with illustrations of ILPS releases, or plain white sleeves). The inner sleeve is unmarked, uncreased and unfaded, and is in 'as new' condition.

Please tell me if you would like to see any additional photos.
