Forever Vinyl Presents:

Bob Gaudio's Demo Acetate of Watertown - US pressing - A&R Label from 112 W. 48th St NYC. - This came from a collection owned at one time by Denny Randell whom Bob had worked with back in the 60's. I'm not sure how Denny Randell got it but look for more items in our other auctions from Denny Randell also. Bob Gaudio of course is an excellent musician being with the Four Season with  Sherry and Rag Doll are classics that he wrote. I've linked a AVI file so you can listen to Bob and the start of Watertown. Bob was only 27 back in 1969 when he wrote and produced Watertown and Watertown can be considered one of the finest concept albums of all time. Frank just killed Watertown and Watertown might even be considered one of Franks best ever albums. Personally, I think Bob killed it himself but here in acetate form is the original version and concept "of" the concept album of the century. Condition: Good is about the best I can rate it. It's noisy and shows wear and I did get it to play all the way through. You might not have the same luck depending on what you track at. It could use a cleaning and I'll leave that to you. If you have a VPI machine, you're in luck. It will have clicks and pops but how rare is this thing???!!!! Label also shows the album recording in MONO. WOW. If you are a Frank Sinatra fan, a Four Seasons fan, or a Bob Gaudio fan, this could be one of the rarest items I've ever seen on Ebay or anywhere else by Bob Gaudio.

If this is your first time buying from Forever Vinyl, I've been offering rare and hard to find records since the mid 70's when I had BackTrax Records in Trenton, NJ. I find cool collectible stuff and what I don't look for is $3.00 records in good condition. Not my thing and you won't find them in my catalogs at forevervinyl.com and you won't see them here. What you will see is hard to find items, long out of print music items, in VG++ to mint and some even sealed and original pressings. I carry audiophile records, test pressings, acetates, original rock, jazz, blues, soul and all the stuff people loved but were hard to find then and still harder to find now and again, all in excellent condition. All items are guaranteed to be as described. I'm looking to keep my perfect ebay rating perfect. A rating I've had for over 14 years on Ebay. I'm a Bronze power seller! I look forward to working with you now and in the future. Please refer me to your friends. I also buy and accept on consignment large collections in the same condition as above. If they are scratched or worn out, please don't send me that list. Unless it's ultra rare, I'm not interested.

Shipping and handling in the USA is: $4.00 - Insurance is $1.80 extra. If you don't buy insurance and the item is lost, stolen or damaged in transit, you agree to not seek damages or ask for refunds.

Priority shipping and handling/insurance is $8.50

Overseas 1st class mail with NO TRACKING AND NO INSURANCE $15.00. WE PACK WELL BUT IF IT GOES MISSING OR DAMAGED, YOU AGREE NOT SEEK ANY DAMAGES OR REFUNDS IN RETURN. TAKE THE PRORITY MAIL WITH INSURANCE IF YOU FEEL THIS IS A RARE RECORD FOR YOUR OWN SAKE AND PIECE OF MIND. YOU AGREE THAT BY BUYING ONLY BASIC SHIPPING, THAT AGAIN, YOU WILL NOT SEEK A REFUND IN ANYWAY SHAPE OR FORM. I hate to put this in here but I don't recommend this form of shipping. People steal, postal employees just don't care that this is a record. I've seen grapling hooks through some of our rare records. Protect your item.

Priority Shipping and handling/insurance overseas is: $30.00 You can combine orders to lower the overall price of shipping. Buy MORE.

Payment via paypal.com to deb@recordweb.com or other acceptable Ebay methods.

Please email us with any questions before buying. We've been on Ebay since 1996 and have a 100% rating. Mostly for selling rare records.

Rolling Stone Magazine writes about Forever Vinyl: "Digging for Discs Online

The top sites for rare and specialty CDs and vinyl:
The places to start if you're looking for rare compact discs or vinyl are pretty obvious: Amazon, eBay and Google. But if they don't yield the original test pressing of Genesis Live you're looking for, here are some specialty stores to try. ForeverVinyl.com: An excellent source for out-of-print vinyl oldies, like a $150 picture-sleeve single of Dylan's "Hurricane" or a $100 copy of the lost Elvis Sings Christmas Songs.
