"Word Gone Wrong," Bob Dylan's second early '90s album of solo acoustic covers, takes a darker turn than its predecessor "Good As I Been To You," as suggested by its gloomy title. Tracks contain mainly songs of death and frustrated desire, from "Blood in My Eyes," and "Two Soldiers" to "Delia" and a version of the familiar "Stack A Lee" that appears to follow the song back to its roots.
The jacket back is entirely taken up by Dylan's own commentary on each of the songs.
This vintage copy of the original, now very hard to find album release, was pressed in The Netherlands for sale throughout the European market.
Never played, it has has been stored vertically on a shelf, inside a protective poly sleeve, with the rest of our carefully maintained LP collection since it came home from the store--while we listened to the CD instead.
Note: "Very Good Plus" to "Near Mint" copies of the same exact record have been selling on Discogs over the last 12 months at prices ranging from $100 to $175. Other eBay sellers are currently offering the same European LP release as this one, in less good condition, for $190 to $215.
