·       THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION ABOUT THE 'STAGE' COVER (SECOND VERSION, NOT THE FIRST VERSION WE HAVE HERE) WAS RECEIVED FROM OUR GOOD FRIEND BRUCE DICKINSON, COLUMBIA’S PROJECT MANAGER ON THIS DYLAN ALBUM, WHOSE KIND ASSISTANCE WE ACKNOWLEDGE:

“The "Stage" cover is actually the second cover. It was based on the inner sleeve of the more commonly known "Hands" cover. It was created, after the initial shipments of "Saved", as an alternate cover geared towards people who found the original cover too strong but Dylan preferred the "Hands" cover so the "Hands" cover was always the primary cover and it was the first cover. Neither cover was withdrawn during the vinyl era and the record shipped in both covers. However, there were always many more of the "Hands" covers, simply because the initial pressing of this album was the biggest by far and it was already sealed and packed with the "Hands" cover. In fact, sales of "Saved" were so limited that the supply of "Hands" covers probably never ran low enough to switch over to the "Stage" cover even if Bob Dylan had wanted to make the change. Columbia obviously used whatever covers they had on hand for "Saved" right up until the end of the vinyl era”

COVER IS (WEAK) NEAR MINT, STILL SEALED AND COVERED IN ITS ORIGINAL ►SHRINK WRAP

The following flaws or imperfections are noted on the cover:

-        Cover has a 'curly' (wavy) warp across the bottom half (visible on both sides); probably due to exposure to humidity  there is no structural damage to the cover, however, the warping and the numerous small and large wrinkles are visible

-        Cover has a few tiny wrinkles along the seams

NO OTHER IMPERFECTIONS ON THE COVER:

-        No split seams

-        No ring wear

-        No cut-out (drill) holes.

-        No cut-out corners

-        No saw-marks or indents

-        No dirt/dust rubbing stains (friction marks caused by rubbing against other covers)
