BOB DYLAN LP John WEsley Harding (Columbia Records CL-2804) Released 1968.
Original US pressing recorded in monaural sound. Vintage red, 2-eye Columbia label design. This is a really early pressing which minimizes generation loss & maximizes warm sound. Disc, label & cover are all in really nice shape. Record has been stored long-term in a protective plastic inner sleeve for enhanced preservation. Printed on the back cover is an unusual short story written by Bob. Charles McCoy on bass & Kenneth Buttrey on drums. Occasional steel guitar by Pete Drake. I believe this was recorded in Nashville, Tennessee. (Etched matrix # "XLP-135309-1C BM B").
DISC - NEAR MINT
We give great importance to grading our items accurately. No scratches, stains, skips, shiver scrapes, warps, pits or residue on the disc or dead wax. I listened to both sides closely & gained great pleasure from this copy. These early pressings have such warm sound. Disc is stored in a protective lined inner sleeve. Album has been stored upright in a climate-controlled environment.
COVER - NEAR MINT
Cover has no seam splits, stains, ink spills, tears, smudges, bowing, puncture holes, color fading, writing or stickers. Very small amount of speckled ring wear. Sharp print & nice color. Spine print is fully readable with some denting & slight edge wear along the edges. Shallow half-inch bubble on back cover. Small amount of corner banging. Vintage red Columbia label is in truly excellent shape with no stains, scuffs, tears, stickers or writing. Beautiful unfaded color tone. Sharp cut hole with a few faint transparent spindle brushings. All in all, this historic album imparts a great deal of visual appeal.
