Description
BOB DYLAN – I WANT YOU / OBVIOUSLY 5 BELIEVERS / JUST LIKE A WOMAN – CBS EP 5769 (French 45 rpm Mono EP). Disc is VG; Labels are Near Mint to Near Mint Plus; Sleeve is VG+ (minor surface wear; corner wear; ring indentation from disc in sleeve can be seen under strong light); rear sleeve is VG (ring forming; writing upper left – see photos).
Unlike most single issues of “I Want You” or “Just Like A Woman” in most countries, this French EP, issued in 1966, did not feature edited timings of same. I Want You times out at the full 3:01, Woman is 4:52, again unedited, and Obviously sits at the original 3:31 timing. These French EPs originally came with edge languettes or index tabs, most of which, this one included, have been excised by buyers over the years as they were rather flimsy to begin with. However, this IS an original pressing/printing, or Variant No. 1. [Due to their faster turning speed and wider groove spread, 45 rpm pressings exhibit more detailed playback than LP pressings, which turn slower and feature more compacted groove spread.
All vinyl records from VinylKing46 (eBay’s ORIGINAL VINYLKING) are pre-cleaned and inserted into paper inner sleeves before mailing to Buyer (unless factory sealed). Discs are packaged separately from sleeves to protect against seam splitting. Sleeves are inserted into mylar outer sleeves and both disc and sleeve are shipped in 7” EP/45-specific boxes and packed with bubble wrap or hard cardboard.
