Description

Stunning double LP on orange and yellow splatter vinyl capturing Dylan and the Rolling Thunder Revue in Texas, May 16, 1976, along with cuts from from New Haven, November 13, 1975 (Tracks marked: I) and Hartford, November 24, 1975 (Tracks marked: II). This is the third pressing issued in 1976 on Wicked Messenger Records & Tapes - A Division of Hoffman Avenue Industries, Ltd. HAR 168.

The thick black and white cover does show some ring and shelf wear and there's a small crease on the bottom right hand corner. Thankfully there are no seam splits and the text on the spine is clearly legible.

The silver labels show light storage wear but there are no spindle marks whatsoever. The run-out grooves read: 'Har 168 - 1'/'Lou', 'Har 168 - 2'/'Char', 'Har 168 - 3'/'Sean' and 'Har 168 - 4'/'Mark' respectively.

Now for the vinyl... Sides one and four are paired together as are sides two and three. The first disc is a wonderful orange splatter with flecks of black, green and red, while the second is yellow and green with some black and red thrown in for good measure. Each disc is in excellent condition with no noticeable marks, having been played only a few times. There are few pops 'n' clicks and very little surface noise.

This would make a wonderful addition to a serious Dylan collection.
