Description
On offer is an original British (United Kingdom) pressing of Bob Dylan Greatest Hits, CBS sbpg 62847 from 1967. It's an early pressing with A2/B3 etched in the dead wax.
The LP was more successful in Britain, where it reached no. 6 on the album chart, than in the U.S. where it rose to number 10. This record has 12 tracks compared to 10 in the U.S. version. The U.K. LP includes It's All Over Now Baby Blue, She Belongs to Me and One of Us Must Know which do not figure on the American version. The U.K. version does not have Positively Fourth Street.
The record plays great, sounds great -- full, bright, deep and clear. There is an occasion touch of very slight surface noise. The vinyl has much of its original shine and lustre. Under a strong light you can see a few hairlines and/or insignificant surface marks. I grade it Excellent or Near Excellent by the Record Collector definition of Excellent as "The record show some signs of having been played but there is very little lessening in sound quality."
The cover is also in excellent condition -- no flaws or problems other than just slight wear, a little discoloration and a touch of ring wear on the back.
