BOB DYLAN Blood On The Tracks (CBS 69097) RARE Dutch 1st Pressing + Insert MINT!
RARE Dutch first pressing of Bob Dylan`s late-period masterpiece "Blood On The Tracks", on CBS Records (January 1975).
As close as it gets to perfection, apart from a sealed record, this copy comes from my own collection. The album was bought in the late seventies and played exactly once. The record has been in storage for over 35 years. It is absolutely perfect.
"The first version of this album struck me as a sellout to the memory of Dylan's pre-electric period; this remix, utilizing unknown Minneapolis studio musicians who impose nothing beyond a certain anonymous brightness on the proceedings, recapitulates the strengths of that period.
Dylan's new stance is as disconcerting as all the previous ones, but the quickest and deepest surprise is in the music itself. By second hearing its loveliness is almost literally haunting, an aural déjà vu. There are moments of anger that seem callow, and the prevailing theme of interrupted love recalls adolescent woes, but on the whole this is the man's most mature and assured record." - Robert Christgau, Christgau's Record Guide, 1981.

- Includes the original "blood red" cardboard insert in near-perfect MINT(-) condition.
MINT(-) RECORD, pure perfection.
- Perfect vinyl on both sides, with impeccable audio reproduction throughout.
- The record was bought new in the late seventies. It has been played once or twice.
- No hairlines, scuffs, spindle wear or any other visible signs of previous play at all!
- Original orange-red CBS Records labels, perfect.
- The matrix stamps in the run-off grooves read "S 69097-A 1" and "S 69097-B 2".
- This record is hereby certified to be an original Dutch first pressing of "Blood On The Tracks".
PLEASE NOTE: Not to be compared with the more-often-than-not substandard vinyl on offer on eBay, this item is in honestly-graded MINT(-) condition. You will NOT find another original first pressing of "Blood On The Tracks" as nice as this one - especially at this bargain price: "True value for money" is the motto here!
