BOB DYLAN - Blonde on Blonde - UK Mono LP CBS DDP 66012 First Press on Orange Label - Different Mix than U.S. Mono.
Decent copy of Blonde on Blonde in Mono on Heavy High Quality UK Vinyl. This has a fully laminated sleeve and has the pictures on the inside including Claudia Cardinale, which was eventually withdrawn.

The stereo version of the album was released unchanged in England, but the English mono album was inexplicably different from the US mono version. While the mixing was the same, two of the tracks ("Pledging My Time" and "I Want You") were longer, while one ("Leopard-Skin Pill-Box Hat") was shorter. Why this should be is anyone's guess. Maybe the mixing sessions produced two tapes, and the wrong one was sent to CBS in England. Whatever the reason, the UK mono version includes music at the end of those two tracks which still can't be heard on any US release of Blonde On Blonde.

COVER:  VERY GOOD PLUS,  The laiminted cover looks good overall with just a few wrinkles and some light wear.There is a slight crease / tear on the front.  VINYL:  VERY GOOD ,  Vinyl has some marks that cause occasional light surface noise throughout.  Side 4 - "Sad Eyed Lady of the Lowlands" has a bit more static than the rest.  This is a decent playing copy overall of a rare lp.
LABELS:  VERY GOOD PLUS- Very Good Plus Overall Condition with some light spindle marks.

GRADING - I follow Record Collector Grading Conventions with +'s and -'s to denote the upper or lower area of the grade.  All records are play graded for accuracy.

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. There may be minor surface noise. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

International : $16 for 1 LP First Class International (No Insurance) or $28 for 1 LP Priortiy Airmail with insurance to Europe or Asia, $10 for 1 LP First Class International or $20 for 1 LP Priority Airmail to Canada. $4 for each additional LP;   Email me for other countries. Note that First Class International does not include insurance, so Priority Airmail is highly recommended!

PACKING: All records are shipped in cardboard lp mailers with a cardboard insert or empty lp jacket for reinforcement.  I ship lp's in new inner sleeves behind the jacket to avoid seam splits.  Records are housed in a resealable japanese mylar plastic lp bag.  Records have been cleaned using the Walker Prelude Cleaning System on a VPI Cleaner.

RETURNS: Records are guaranteed to be in the condition described above.  If a mistake is made, then the buyer can return the record within 7 days of receipt for refund of purchase price minus postage costs.  Records must be returned in the same visual and playing condition as they were sent.
