On offer here is a VERY rare Double LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Bob Dylan called 'Blonde On Blonde' and is an ORIGINAL 1966 UK MONO 1st Pressing on the 1st Press 'Textured' Orange CBS labels!!!!  THIS DOUBLE LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS IS WITHOUT ANY DOUBT - BOB DYLAN'S RAREST LP EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!!  THIS AMAZING DOUBLE LP IS WITHOUT ANY DOUBT, ONE OF THE MOST SOUGHT AFTER 1960s LPs EVER - AND IS INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE TODAY!!!!  BUT WHAT MAKES THIS DOUBLE LP REALLY SPECIAL - IS THAT IT IS THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE!!!!  AND THIS IS SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS DOUBLE LP!!!!  I WILL EXPLAIN EXACTLY WHAT MAKES THIS DOUBLE LP THE 'EARLIEST' & RAREST 1ST PRESSING OF THIS AMAZING LP EVER MADE!!!!  FIRSTLY - THE RECORD HAS 1/1/1/1 MONO MATRIXES (LATER ONES DONT!).  SECONDLY THE COVER IS A LAMINATED GATEFOLD COVER - WITH INTERNAL FLIPBACKS (LATER ONES DONT!).  THIRDLY THE CBS LABELS ARE 'TEXTURED' (LATER ONES ARENT!), AND HAVE '33' TEXT ON EACH LABEL (LATER ONES HAVE 33 1/3 INSTEAD!).  AND LASTLY & MOST IMPORTANTLY - THIS DOUBLE LP HAS A COVER STICKER THAT WAS ONLY EVER PLACED ON THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSINGS ONLY - ON THE VERY 'DAY OF RELEASE' BACK IN 1966!!!!  THE COVER STICKER CLEARLY READS 'DOUBLE PACK 2-12" LPs FOR 50/-' (A VERY LONG WINDED WAY OF DESCRIBING A DOUBLE LP - AND ONLY APPLICABLE TO 1ST PRESSINGS ONLY!)!!!!  NOW IN 1966 DOUBLE LPs WERE ALMOST UNHEARD OF IN THE UK - AND CBS HAD NO IDEA HOW TO PROMOTE THEM PROPERLY!!!!  THE WORD 'DOUBLE LP' HADNT YET COME INTO EXISTENCE - WITH FONTANA IN THE EARLY 1960s USING THE TERM '1+1' ON FRANK SINATRA DOUBLE LPs - AS WELL AS MANY OTHER LONG WINDED VARIATIONS BY OTHER RECORD COMPANIES!!!!  HOWEVER, STRAIGHT AFTER THIS LP WAS RELEASED - SOMEONE COINED THE TERM 'DOUBLE LP' AND THE STICKER ON THE COVER WAS CHANGED - FIRST TO A WHITE STICKER WITH THE PLAIN '50/-' PRICE, AND LATER STILL TO A STICKER WITH 'DOUBLE LP' TEXT!!!!  AND THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT MAKES THIS BLUE STICKER INCREDIBLY IMPORTANT!!!!  BECAUSE ONLY THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSINGS ONLY - FROM THE VERY 'DAY OF RELEASE' BACK IN 1966, EVER HAD THIS UNIQUE STYLE OF STICKER (CHANGED IMMEDIATELY!) - AND THIS MAKES THIS DOUBLE LP A MAJOR BOB DYLAN RARITY!!!!  AND OF COURSE IT IS ALSO WORTH ASKING THE QUESTION - JUST HOW MANY 'TRUE' 1ST PRESSINGS FROM THE 'DAY OF RELEASE' BACK IN 1966 STILL HAVE THIS ULTRA RARE 1ST PRESS ONLY STICKER LEFT ON THEM TODAY?  THE ANSWER IS SURELY - VIRTUALLY NONE!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS DOUBLE LP IS IN ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT CONDITION OVERALL AND CLEARLY HASNT BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!!  JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1966 UK 'EARLIEST' MONO 1ST PRESSING ON THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS TEXTURED CBS LABELS, 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 1/1/1/1 MONO MATRIX ENDINGS, 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS '33' LABEL TEXT, 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS MATCHING INNER SLEEVES, AND 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS FLIPBACK LAMINATED GATEFOLD COVER (WITH 1ST PRESS COVER STICKER - COMPLETELY UNIQUE TO 'DAY OF RELEASE' 1ST PRESSINGS ONLY!)!!!!  THIS DOUBLE LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL CBS UK 1st Pressing from 1966 and is in BRILLIANT condition overall!!!!  The records are pressed on THICK quality vinyl!!!!  The Cat. No is DDP 66012 on the 1st Press 'Textured' CBS Labels (see picture) and is a UK MONO 1st pressing!!!!

The record labels to BOTH records are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO writing, NO wear and only a VERY few light spindle marks!!!!  IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THESE RECORDS HAVENT BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!!  The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition overall!!!!  Most of these 60s Double LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and I will grade this record side by side - with an overall grading at the end.  Sides 3 & 4 records have NO scratches, only 2 or 3 MEGA light hairlines, NO scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  Sides 3 & 4 MUST visually grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!!  Side 2 has NO scratches, only 3 or 4 VERY light hairlines, NO scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  Side 2 MUST visually grade Very Good++ if not better!!!!  Side 1 has NO sounding scratches, NO hairlines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  However - this side (Side 1) does also 2 or 3 visual scufflines - and though they are visible, they are completely NON sounding, and this side like the other 3 sides plays absolutely BRILLIANTLY with the 2 or 3 visual scufflines being completely superfical and NON sounding!!!!  This side must visually grade Very Good (Minus) - though it plays WAY better than this (see below).  ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!!  BOTH RECORDS STILL RETAIN THEIR ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND SHINE LIKE NEW!!!!  It is also great to find that BOTH records play as STUNNINGLY (if not better!) as the visual with NO pops, barely ANY clicks AT ALL (virtually NONE!), NO sticking, NO jumps, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO groovewear and NO distortion either!!!!  BOTH records must overall grade Very Good+ if not better and play VERY well indeed!!!!  Believe me these records are NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!!  The records also come in their ORIGINAL 1st Press Matching inner sleeves which are in SUPERB condition!!!!  The ULTRA RARE 'Earliest' 1st Press Gatefold Flipback Laminated Cover (+ STICKER!) is in absolutely BRILLIANT condition!!!!  It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour!), only a few VERY light creases (cover is VERY flat looking!), VERY shiny laminate, and NO writing!!!! The opening edges are beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated inside of the cover is in STUNNING condition with SUPERB flipbacks, NO rubbing, NO grubbyness, NO yellowing, NO ringwear, and NO writing!!!! The cover must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!!  THE ULTRA RARE UNIQUE '1ST PRESS ONLY' IS IN ABSOLUTELY MINT CONDITION!!!!  THIS DOUBLE LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS ULTRA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
