From my own personal collection I am pleased to offer an exceptional MINT- example of the iconic studio album by BOB DYLAN titled “BLOOD ON THE TRACKS”, Catalogue Number CBS 69097. This is an ORIGINAL 1974 UK STEREO PRESSING on the ORANGE CBS RECORD LABEL, with a superb 1st issue un-laminated SHOREWOOD PACKAGING CO LTD single sleeve. Complete with the correct brown card inner sleeve. [The matrix numbers are CBS.S.69097.A2 and CBS.S.69097.B2].

 

The sleeve is in EX+ condition with only the lightest signs of wear and virtually no creasing. It’s a beautiful sleeve which should please even the most discerning of collectors.  

                     

The top quality CBS record is in MINT- condition. It’s a nice mid-weight pressing which sits perfectly flat on the turntable. The orange CBS labels are like new with no obvious spindle traces. I have owned this LP from new and can confirm that it has only received 2 or 3 careful plays. Both sides play essentially as new with exceptional sound quality. The audio playback is faultless. Lead-in and linking grooves play with near silence and there is virtually no unwanted noise at all. If you are looking for the very best-playing copy available - look no further!

 

The 1st issue brown card inner sleeve is in unmarked EX condition.

 

Overall this is a wonderful original copy which plays MINT- throughout.

 

GRADINGS

The records that I offer for sale have been critically play-graded, at loud volume, on a Rega P5 turntable fitted with an Elys 2 cartridge. I will only sell records that play to a high standard. My gradings are strict and in accordance with the following descriptions:

·         MINT- Record is superb, almost like new, with just a few sleeve removal type surface marks and no deterioration in sound quality. Sleeve is near perfect in all respects.

·         EX Record is a top quality example, with just a few very light surface marks which do not sound, and barely any discernable deterioration in sound quality. Sleeve has slight wear and/or creasing.

·         VG Record has some visual surface marks, but still plays to a high standard without any major deterioration in sound quality – just a few clicks or light surface sound in places. Sleeve has normal wear and tear without any major defects but is still very presentable.

 

PACKAGING        

LPs are packaged with care and well protected to ensure that they arrive safely in the same condition as they leave me. Records are removed from both inner and outer sleeves in order to prevent seam-splits in transit.
