TAKRL/1952 Mono 1974
This is an original vintage 1974 rare LP from "The Amazing Kornyphone Label," made from Bob Dylan's October 26, 1963 concert at NYC's Carnegie Hall along with several songs from his performance April 12, 1963 at Town Hall, NY.
The shows were recorded by Columbia for a planned live concert album that was never released due to various disputes. Presumably the tapes resided in the record company's vaults until they were "liberated" and unofficially released during the bootleg LP heyday of the early Seventies that followed in the wake of the appearance a few years earlier of the original Dylan bootleg album, The Great White Wonder.
In addition to documenting two historic performances by the budding folk/protest star, the LP has been praised for its excellent sound. (see review at bobsboots.com)
This is an original copy that was pressed in 1974 and purchased new by seller as soon as it became available. The vinyl is in perfect condition. The plain white cardboard jacket, with pasted-on, two-color printed graphic, is still in its original shrinkwrap and perfect except for a bit of wear on the top right corner.
