In 1962 Bob Dylan was virtually unknown - When he released his Debut/Self Titled Album, only a very small amount of the vinyl's were actually sold during that first year!!!!.   It is believed that as little as 3000/4,000 Vinyl records were actually pressed during this first recording...  Out of this small amount of records produced an even lesser amount were printed on the Columbia "six-eye" label . Columbia Records changed their label design to a solid red/white design a month or so after the release of Dylan's first album;  making the black/red "6-Eye" first pressings extremely rare & a highly Historically - Collectible -  Must Have -  Recording ...

Vinyl - VG/VG+ - Has some  shine - Vinyl shows visual paper scuffs/hairline marks/surface marks & general 52 years of play & handling: Pops/crackle & background could be heard throughout (both sides) Vinyl plays through with No Skips or Repeating - Play Graded -  Even with the vinyl's appearance & background sounds - it is a Truly Amazing Vinyl to hear - As it is Bob Dylan's first - ever - Album!! *As with any Vintage Vinyl Not Marked as MINT - you may hear faint background noise/ pops/clicks etc.

Cover - VG -  Thick Cardboard Cover -  Original 1st Released Cover showing reversed photo of Dylan - Along with one tuning key on his guitar handle - Cover shows 50 years of play & age - Tan Tape (masking tape?) is on the top (discolored/see pic) - Visual spotting/handling/fading/stains & discoloration on both sides   

Insert - Original to Album Release - Columbia thick insert paper cover with light blue/dark blue colors - Has light fraying & discoloration near top - No ink/stains/odors

Spine - VG - No Splits /Tears or Tape - Catalog information is no longer readable

VG+- There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility a few scuffs - could include light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, still plays great. VG- significant wear and marks - would b noticeable - may have surface noise -still plays very well with no disruption. Good- Would only sell if the Record/Cover were Rare ~ Highly Desirable and/or Limited/Special Edition vinyl/jacket cover
