BOB DOWNES OPEN MUSIC
1970 LP PHILIPS SBL 7922
This is his first LP and very collectable.
As you may know Bob Downes was 32 when he recorded this LP and stated on the rear sleeve notes that "The flute has become my biographer". The 1st side of this LP - Dream Journey was the score for a ballet for Ballet Rambert (beating Tuxedomoon to the punch by a decade or so). The B side is six tracks from Birth Of A forest to Electric City.
CONDITION
The record is in EXCELLENT MINUS condition. There is a light mark across track 6 on the second side but it does not affect playback. Also several spindle marks on the 2nd side suggesting the the original owner liked the other side that only has 2 spindle marks.

The sleeve is EXCELLENT MINUS - one or two light marks on spine. Also at one point a piece of sellotape was expertly applied to the top near the opening as I assume the flap had come slightly unglued.
