🎧 BOARDS OF CANADA – TWOISM (1995 ORIGINAL WHITE LABEL PROMO)
💎 ULTRA RARE – ONE OF ~30 IN EXISTENCE – THE HOLY GRAIL
This is not just a record — this is a piece of electronic music history.
Originally released in August 1995 on Music70 by Boards of Canada, Twoism was pressed in an incredibly limited run of just 100 copies for friends and family. Most never made it into circulation — with the band themselves reportedly holding onto a large portion — leaving perhaps as few as ~30 copies in the wild today.
This is widely considered the rarest Boards of Canada release ever.
⸻
🔥 WHY THIS COPY IS SPECIAL
• ✔️ Original 1995 pressing (NOT the later Warp Records reissue from 2002)
• ✔️ Features early contributions from Chris Horne — making it historically unique in the band’s catalogue
• ✔️ Given directly by Marcus Eoin in 1995 — genuine provenance
• ✔️ Handwritten inner sleeve with original tracklisting and message
• ✔️ Coffee stain on inner sleeve, believed to have been present when it was originally given in 1995
⸻
💿 CONDITION
• Vinyl: Mint (played once or twice at most)
• Sleeve: Original plain white cardboard outer sleeve + white inner sleeve with handwritten details (see note above)
For a record of this age and rarity, this is exceptional condition — likely one of the finest surviving copies.
⸻
🏆 A TRUE COLLECTOR’S PIECE
This is the holy grail for Boards of Canada collectors — a record that almost never surfaces on the open market.
With over 30 years since its original 1995 release, interest in early BOC material continues to grow. Opportunities like this are extraordinarily rare — and may not come again for years, if ever.
⸻
⚠️ FINAL WORD
Records like this don’t just get bought — they get passed down.
If you know, you know.
This is your chance to own a genuine artefact from the origins of one of electronic music’s most influential acts.
