I listened to this entire album from start to finish late at night – if you enjoy the Blues, pick this one up!
Grading: Side 1…VG / Side 2….VG-
Side 1 stills shows gloss and is fairly clean other than some faint blemish dots towards the outside matrix….surface does show some small scattered scratches as well as some hairline marks
Side 2 shows a little more pronounced wear - has some scattered marks and several needle scratches and that can be felt with the finger.
Playability: No skips, nothing major or overly problematic
Side 1 sounds great – there is some very light to moderate surface noise throughout, but nothing intrusive to the vocals or instrumentation
From the beginning towards the middle of Side 2, it mimics Side 1 (plays nice with some light surface noise throughout) However, towards the end of Side 2 around the second to last track, the background noise picks up some – there are some quicker and more apparent pops that start to fade back down around the middle of the last track
“Carolina Boogie” on Side 2 is one of the highlights of this LP – awesome upbeat blues!
Labels: Light wear, no stickers or writing, nice fonts
Jacket: Nice condition – colors & fonts look good, has tiny “A21” stamp on back towards bottom, slight crease running along top near edge, solid spine & seams (no splits), has some minor shelf & handling wear on edges & corners
