Description

Blues - Classic sides by Clara Smith accompanied by her unknown Jazz band of trumpet, alto sax, piano, banjo and whistle on "Different Way Blues" and "Down Home Bound Blues" recorded 6 July 1925 in New York. Visually the record is first class, with a high gloss finish , very few marks and just some very early evidence of light needle wear and no greying. Plays accordingly, plays clearly with very little distortion and very light background noise, every instrument is as clear as day and singing playback is excellent . A rare record, which is in great playing condition.  .
