Superb very rare instrumental progressive psych rock with storming fuzz/lead guitar and keyboard work with some orchestration,there are some real gems here with one track sounding similar to the great 'War Pigs' by 'Black Sabbath' but taking it to the next dimension..Excellent heavy tracks that will not disappoint the psych prog fan.
Released on the very tiny UK KALEIDOSCOPE label,the only other prog album released on this label is the bizarrely named UGLY CUSTARD which is a similar instrumental album but not as highly rated as BLUE PHANTOM.
This album by the very obscure and anomalous BLUE PHANTOM is a Freak Emporium office favourite and they know their proggy psych music very well.
The vinyl is in a superb very clean excellent++/near mint condition and free of marks and both sides play superb from beginning to end,this album has been barely played at all in the last 34 years and the sound quality for such a small pressing is fantastic.
The single front laminated sleeve grades as excellent condition only showing very light ringwear to the matt back and some very minor handling marks,the top and bottom edges have a very thin narrow slither of selotape attached to strengthen the edges but this does not look untidy and is barely noticeable.
Both yellow textured labels are in superb bright and very clean condition.
