BLUE NOTE BST 84175 - HERBIE HANCOCK - EMPYREAN ISLES. 1st original US Stereo pressing W/ Blue & white Blue Note Records Inc - New York Usa labels, Non laminated jacket W/ 43 West 61st St., New York 23 address on back cover; Stereo and Van Gelder stamped separately in the dead wax, & "P" (otherwise wrongly called "ear") for Plastylite etched on both sides.
Personnel Include: Freddie Hubbard, Trumpet; Herbie Hancock, Piano; Ron Carter, Bass; Anthony Willams, Drums.
Recorded on June 17, 1964 at Van Gelder Studio, Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey.
