Artist: KENNY BURRELL
Title: “MIDNIGHT BLUE”
Label: BLUE NOTE. Monaural pressing on medium thick vinyl. Label is blue/white, with blue text. Label address is “BLUE NOTE RECORDS * NEW YORK USA” on both sides.
Side 1 has deep groove, Side 2 does not. Stamped VAN GELDER with ear symbol in runout on both sides. Catalog number is BLP 4123. Address on jacket at bottom is 43 West 61st St., New York 23.
Year: 1963.
Personnel: Stanley Turrentine – tenor sax; Kenny Burrell – guitar; Major Holley Jr. – bass; Bill English – drums; Ray Barretto – conga.
Condition:
DISC: Vinyl is EXCELLENT with 100% of original gloss, appears to have been played a small number of times, and handled with care. Labels are clean. Fidelity is superb.
JACKET: Jacket is nice VG++. Front art work is clean and bright. Bottom corners show some wear, as does the bottom seam. Reverse has darkened ever-so slightly with age. No writing, stickers, cutout indications, or other flaws. Overall a very nice jacket to accompany the lovely disc.
