Sabu - Palo Congo - Blue Note BLP 1561 - Ear and RVG in the dead wax. Deep Groove on both sides. 47 west 63rd street. Laminated Cover. This is a very, very early pressing, but not the earliest as is noted by the presence of the R beneath "Blue Note" on the label and no flat edge. Still the very same exceptional sound quality as to be expected from all Van Gelder pressings from the Plastylite plants and a very rare record indeed. Sleeve: VG+ (edge wear, seam split on left spine almost invisibly repaired with tape, very slight curve to sleeve) Record: between a VG+ and VG++ (just a few miniscule hairlines. Plays wonderfully). Do not miss this!
