Description
This is an EX / EX copy of this hard to find UK LP on BLUE HORIZON RECORDS from 1970 in STEREO - 7-63867 - by MARTHA VALEZ - "FIENDS & ANGELS AGAIN". Producer Mike Vernon pulls all the stops out here to create a rocking and high powered offereing form the woman with an amazing Blues growl, Martha Valez. Recorded in London, her house band include a virtual who's who of UK music - Eric Clapton, Rick Hayward, Jack Bruce, Mitch Mitchell, Duster Bennett, Stan Webb, Paul Kossoff, Jim capaldi, Brian Auger and Keef Hartley. Looking at her image on the sleeve I bet that lot couldn't wait to get to the sessions! Her voice is not only powerful, but has a great 'blues' twang in there and she really can hold those notes. Looking back in retrospect, this album should have sold much better than it did. It is a rockin' good Blues album with a great voice and a great house band. IVESTIGATE !
