This is an EX / EX / EX copy of this very rare and hard to find UK DOUBLE LP on BLUE HORIZON RECORDS from 1970 in STEREO - 7-66230 - by ELMORE JAMES - "TO KNOW A MAN". This two LP set is the complete last two sessions recorded by Elmore before his death. What you get is everything, false starts, mistakes and verbal introductions by both Elmore and the tape-op. - Oh, and some great and wonderful blues! It is an intruiging look at the great man at work. The sleeve notes by Mike Leadbitter (Blues Unlimited mag.) procalim "This is perhaps the most interesting of all the re-issues, if not the best release for Elmore James so far". The gatefold has a soft focus shot of a lake through trees in a cyan blue tone with ELMORE JAMES in large yellow letters. The gatefold inside has lengthy notes and track details and a great sjot of Elmore at the mic.with guitar. Both records and the sleeve look great the vinyl is a strong EX. ESSENTIAL !
