This rare UK 1st press is on the the plain black Philips label. It is complete with the very earliest 852120 1Y/1 - 2Y/1 matrix and the original laminated gatefold sleeve.
The vinyl is in Very Good+ condition. It has a sensational gloss, there is no whitening or signs of wear to the grooves, there are just a few extremely light wispy marks on both sides, but these certainly have no effect on play. The original Philips label is exceptionally bright and completely clean. The colour is solid and unworn, the text is sharp and there is no spindle wear.
The sound quality is Excellent. The vinyl lies completely flat on the turntable and the sound is exceptionally rich and warm. Superb clarity and audio separation from start to finish. Just a few moments of very light background noise but certainly nothing that spoils the enjoyment of this album at any point.
The laminated gatefold sleeve is in Very Good condition. The laminate has the most sensational mirrored shine. The colours are vivid, the text is crisp and the image is superb. There is just some edge wear and a little ripple on the bottom corner. The rear of the sleeve is superb, completely clean and bright and the whole sleeve is solid.
