By now if you are bidding for vinyl, you should be familiar with a number of grading standards. I follow Goldmine to the letter, grading conservatively vinyl, label, insert and cover. I have been listening to music all my life and collecting for the past 40+ years. I grade visually and spot check the audio quality playing back on a Goldring turntable with a Ortofon cartridge, powered by a modest NAD 304 Integrated AMP with a pair of near monitor Fanfare Acoustics speakers.

All the records I will be selling are from my personal collection or very special acquisitions from other private collections.

Vinyl Rating: Looks: NM- with incredible sheen, no scratches or hairliners and super clean original labels.

Sounds: NM- super clean with no surface noise. Excellent full sounding recording.

Cover Rating: VG++ with some ring ware in the rear, no splits and a round cut out in the bottom left hand corner. Pristine original MGM inner sleeve.

About this recording: This is a very period music soundtrack of cool jazz and Mod Rockers. Herbie Hancock did a great job composing and getting the right mood for this very hip film made by two of the hottest European film makers of the time, Carlo Ponti and Michelangelo Antonioni. The playing by Hancock and the band is tight and fluid. This is a great recording to enjoy for a long time!
