BLOODROCK – “self-titled” (1971) Captiol-435 original green label pressing M-/Strong VG+ (cover/record)
The rare debut album of killer hard rock by this group from Fort Worth, Texas, that featured Jim Rutledge on drums and lead vocals, Lee Pickens on lead guitar, Nick Taylor on guitar, Eddie Grundy on bass, and Stevie Hill on keys. This is great protometal in the Deep Purple style produced by Terry Knight, and it is super heavy with tons of electric guitar riffing and super gutbucket vocals. “Fantastic Piece of Architecture” and “Martin Laid an Egg” are totally killer. A cult classic!
This is an original pressing. The cover is in shrink wrap and has a cut out hole in the top front righ corner. It also includes the “New Spirit of Capitol” label insert. The green label vinyl is glossy and clean. Conservative grading: M-/Strong VG+ (cover/record).

I highly recommend postal insurance to protect against any damage that might occur during shipping.
I package all LPs securely in record mailers and remove the vinyl from the covers to prevent seam splits during mailing. I do not just stick your record in a priority mailer box from the post office or between two thin pieces of cardboard with no additional packaging materials like so many others!!!
