Description

Up for sale is my copy of Blondies Masterpiece album Parallel Lines, Original Master Recording Half Speed Master Lp on the Prestigious Mobile Fidelity Soundlab Label MFSL 1-050, considered by many to be the best available version of this iconic album.

Please checkout my other auctions over the coming days as I will be listing many MFSL LPs, other rare records, guitars, and recording gear.

I’ve had this record for many years and it’s always been my go to copy when listening and enjoying this great album.

It’s in excellent condition and plays & sounds amazing but as expected from a record that’s over 40 years old it does have the odd pop and click here and there, but I’ve had brand new records do this.

The cover does show signs of ware & tear, especially around the edges where there are splits, but as expected for an album that’s over 40 years old, So Please check out the images as they form part of the description.

In 1980 Mobile Fidelity were given access to the original stereo analog master tapes to produce this half speed master at mobile fidelity USA and then pressed on virgin vinyl at the best record pressing plant in the world at the time the JVC pressing factory in Japan.
