Description
CRISP copy of relatively rare debut album released by Blondie in the early days of UK punk/new wave.
Semi-matt outer cover, inner sleeve and both sides of vinyl are all in very good+ condition.
Only a touch of shelf wear around outside edges of cover, corners are crisp and artist/album name clearly visible along the spine. Both faces (front and back) are free of significant dings and dents apart from a little ringwear at bottom of front face.
Plain white paper inner sleeve also in very good+ condition with clean die cut corners, solid seams and no splits. Some yellowing and light creasing around edges.
Coffee, black and white Private Stock labels are near-perfect apart from some light spindle marks around centre.
Vinyl is fairly free of surface marks - light scuffing here and there is mostly caused by slipping record in and out of inner sleeve - and retains much of its original gloss. Both sides play really well.
Side one tracks: X Offender, Little Girl Lies, In The Flesh, Look Good In Blue, In The Sun, A Shark In Jets Clothing. Side two: Man Overboard, Rip Her To Shreds, Rifle Range, Kung Fu Girls, The Attack of the Giant Ants.
"PVLP 1017 A-1U" stamped and "MELYS" etched into A side runout with "PVLP 1017 B-1U" stamped and "MELYS" etched into B side runout.
Private Stock Records address on flip side is 32 Old Burlington Street, London W1. Sleeve printed in England by Robert Stace and label says pressing was "Made in England".
