SUPERB ORIGINAL COPY - SEEN LITTLE USE AND PLAYS BEAUTIFULLY THROUGHOUT
Blodwyn Pig were formed by Mick Abrahams after leaving Jethro Tull in 1968, shortly after the recording of 'This Was' - few of Jethro Tull's progressive rock tendencies or classical influences followed Mick Abrahams into his creation of Blodwyn Pig, even with the inclusion Jack Lancaster's sax- and flute-playing prowess. Instead, Abrahams built up a sturdy British blues-rock sound and used Lancaster's horn work to add some fire to the band's jazzy repertoire.

MATRIX: ILPS 912(3)2 A∇1 12 41 / ILPS 912(3)2 B∇1 13 (the stamped '3' in brackets has been crossed out and the correct '2' etched - the mistakenly stamped 9123 catalogue number is spookily enough for Jethro Tull's Benefit LP)

Clean, bright, unmarked labels with just a couple of light spindle traces
VINYL Visual: NEAR MINT/EXCELLENT+
Both surfaces shine like-new - there is a superficial small thumbnail mark on Side Two but this completely harmless
VINYL Audio: NEAR MINT/EXCELLENT+
Crystal clear, sharp and strong audio reproduction throughout - a beautifully produced and engineered record and my play-check at volume found little to fault - just a touch of surface on the quiet Beach Scape intro to Side Two - nothing really - very nice barely played copy - great record - very highly recommended indeed
SLEEVE: EXCELLENT
The matt gatefold is good and solid with no structural damage - just general light wear to the surfaces and top/bottom edges - all text on the wide spine is strong and bold
