Description
BLIND FAITH Recorded Live Along The U.S. Tour. TAKRL 1902. Research shows this was live in Santa Barbara CA, 8/16/1969 (Earl Warren Showgrounds). With Eric Clapton guitar & vocals, Steve Winwood keyboards & vocals, Ginger Baker, drums, and Rick Grech, bass. Sounds like an audience recording, fair-good quality. Unknown release date, guessing Fall/Winter 1969
A reviewer wrote: “This boot has reasonable fidelity, and a mediocre mix, about what you would expect from someone recording from the audience with decent seats. Included are great live versions of their standards, featuring Clapton’s inimitable guitar and Winwood on Fender Rhodes. The version of “Crossroads” is radically different than Cream’s version, and the set also includes their non-LP cover of “Means to an End”. All in all, not bad for a boot. Grades: 1 A-, 2 B+’s, 2 B’s, and a B-.”
This is the first version. The front is a monotone copied paper slick ("slick" does not refer to the texture) - (this came in various colors), which is glued on to a plain white cover, maybe VG condition.
The record itself is VG++.
