BLIND FAITH
“BLIND FAITH”
WOW!! WOW!! WOW!! ULTRA RARE and HARD-TO-FIND original Stereo Polydor Records very first press released in Chile early 1970 by Polydor Records, licensed from La Deutsche Grammophon Ges., Germany, made and distributed by Discos Philips (Philips Records), catalog number 184.302 with red/black Polydor Records labels and white “Polydor” lettering, with hand etched matrix numbers are 6 P 1969 H9 Z1 00 184302 S1 in Side 1 and 6 P 1969 H9 Z1 00 184302 S2 in Side 2. Yes, yes, yes, WHAT A FIND AGAIN!!! Another extremely rare Chilean press of a classic rock album!!! A MUST TO HAVE!!!
BLIND FAITH eponymus album was originally released on August of 1969. In Chile this record was released early 1970, with same catalog number used by Polydor Germany and like usual those years the cover in Chile is UNIQUE, made of a very thin cardboard or thick paper folded in the middle, faking a gatefold cover, so 3 sides are open and kept together for an outer plastic bag. In Chile front cover keeps strictly the same artwork of the German press, with an orange tinted photo of the band on the black cover. Back cover is totally different, it has a rectangle divided in two parts, in left side is the tracklist with song written in Spanish, translated to English, with full credits for songwriters, and in right side is a brief review about the band and their music. In labels the tracklist is also written in Spanish, translated to English, with full credits for songwriters, and credits for the album too. Yes Sirs, here you have the chance to own another Chilean rarity, the original press of “Blind Faith” with UNIQUE COVER!!! A MUST TO HAVE!!!
The cover was already described and it’s in superb EX+ or NM- condition, complete and clean, no rips, no creases, not bends, minimal wear in mouth edge and corners, no ring marks, a faint age browning in back cover. The record is in superb NM- or NM condition, glossy and clean, with some very very light scuffs hardly to see if you don’t look for them, and 2 very soft scratches in the first song of Side 1, which of course don’t affect the sound at all too. Labels on both sides are in NM- or NM condition, with minimal spindle hole wear and a number that some past owner wrote in Side 1. The sound is the best part, it’s in amazing and strong NM- or NM condition, loud, clear and clean, virtually no background noise (surface noise is normal in records from Chile), only barely audible minimal crackles which don’t cause any distraction from the stunning audio quality this record keeps from the beginning to the end, a record to listen and enjoy!!! Overall, a MEGARARE record released in Chile with UNIQUE COVER, with still a great glossy look and still amazing sound quality after about 52 years, which won't disappoint anyone!!! AMAZING FIND FROM CHILE AGAIN!!! Click on the pictures to enlarge and see the labels and cover in detail. WOW!!!
Bid with confidence and don’t wait until the last second because you could lose the chance to get a real collectable record from Chile (South America) in superb condition like this copy is. You know South American records aren’t easy to get in good conditions, so HAPPY BIDDING and don’t let this record to go away… you could never see a so good copy of this record again… if you are lucky enough to see even another copy again…
Thanks for watching and bidding, good luck and best regards from Chile
_________________________________________________________
We don’t use the generic “VG” most of South American sellers use to hide poor quality conditions or “NM” or “Mint” for records which aren’t even clean and sound less than a normal “VG” in professional standards. We use the Record Collector’s Grading System with a little modification: we don’t use MINT grade but for Sealed records and we can use a + or – to show a most professional accurate description.
MINT (M): I only use this grade for Sealed records.
NEAR MINT (NM): The record itself is in like new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality (only some very very very light hairlines caused for the record rubbing the sleeve). The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in like perfect condition.
EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality, maybe some surface marks which doesn’t affect play. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.

FEEDBACK
We don’t have anything to hide and we know the buyers expect to receive feedback after to pay for the items they win. Most of sellers say to give feedback when buyers leave feedback first. But we know that’s not fair for buyers. So, we leave feedback immediately after to receive the payment, because we understand that’s the part that buyers must receive feedback for. And we expect to receive a positive feedback from buyers who receive the records immediately after they have got the records.
