You are viewing my copy of an ultra scarce promotional (promo) instrumental single.   It is believed that only 500 copies were produced.  Each copy was distributed by Island records to notify their change of business address.

The track itself was recorded by BLIND FAITH at Morgan Studios, London in February or March 1969.  Eric Clapton, Steve Winwood and Ginger Baker all played on this track. Both sides of the disc play the same instrumental recording. 

1.  The 'Change of Address' side has at the top of the centre label the pink "island" logo.  On the left hand side is the circular black and red and pink 'eye' logo.  Underneath this logo is the text "Cable Address: Ackee W.11 ?. 1969".  On the right hand side is the text "New Telephone No. 01-229-1229".   At the bottom of the label are the words 'CHANGE OF ADDRESS FROM JUNE 23rd 1969' and in smaller type "Basing Street, London, W.11. England".   In the dead-wax area (between the end of the recording and the label), instead of a matrix number are the words "BASING STREET".

2. The 'Sales Office' side has at the top the pink "island" logo. On the left hand side is the circular black and red and pink 'eye' logo, and underneath this logo is the text "?. 1969".  On the right hand side the text  reads, "Telephone No. 01-459-6212". On the bottom of the label are the words "SALES OFFICE" and in smaller type "Music House, 12 Neasden Lane, London, N.W.10. England".  In the dead-wax area (between the end of the recording and the label), instead of a matrix number are the words "BASING STREET".

We always strictly grade our records using the Record Collector Standard, (Side A first as paper Island sleeve only)

There are a number of light surface marks to both sides.  I have tried to show these marks on the photographs.  

I have played both sides of the disc and am satisfied that the disc plays perfectly with no sticks or jumps.  I am happy to play grade this disc as VG to both sides.

Please note: This record is not in mint condition, it is as described above - so if you want an absolutely perfect copy, this one is not for you.

Condition gradings:

M - Mint - In perfect/As new condition

EX - Excellent - Sleeve and vinyl is used and shows only very minor (if any) signs of wear.

VG - Very Good  - Sleeve will have obvious signs of wear/damage. Vinyl will have obvious signs of wear but will play with no major faults (although there may be some surface noise).

G - Good - Sleeve will have significant wear/damage. Vinyl will have a fair amount of surface damage however it will play with no sticks or jumps but will have significant surface noise

F - Fair - Sleeve will be badly damaged. Vinyl will have significant damage and may play with surface noise and may jump/stick etc.

+ & - may be used if an item is between standard gradings.
